Graduate Certificate in Ignatian Spirituality

This three-unit course is designed as an initial step for those seeking formation in giving spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition. It is also suitable for those who wish to deepen their understanding of Ignatian spirituality.

Graduate Certificate in Spirituality

This three-unit course is for those seeking to an initial award in the disciplines of spirituality and/or spiritual direction.

Graduate Certificate in Supervision (spiritual direction)

This three-unit course is for those seeking formation as supervisors.
It will enable a graduate to supervise both
(i) those in initial formation as spiritual directors, and
(ii) those who are fully qualified spiritual directors and who desire to develop their professional competence.

Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction

This six-unit course is designed to give basic formation for those seeking to become accredited as spiritual directors.

Graduate Diploma in Spirituality

This six-unit course allows students to explore Christian spirituality with academic guidance.

Graduate Diploma in Theology

With a focus on Spiritual Direction, this six-unit course, for those who do not have a degree in theology, is designed to give basic formation for those seeking to become accredited as spiritual directors. The Graduate Diploma in Theology leads on to the Master of Arts (Spiritual Direction) and/or the Graduate Certificate in Supervision (Spiritual Direction).

Master of Arts (Spiritual Direction)

This course builds on the Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction and the Graduate Diploma in Theology and allows students to develop specific areas of academic or pastoral interest, along with further rigorous supervision of their spiritual direction practice.

Master of Arts (Spirituality)

This course builds on the Graduate Diploma in Spirituality and allows students to develop specific areas of academic or pastoral interest.

Doctor of Philosophy

The Graduate School of Spiritual Formation will support students who wish to study spirituality and spiritual direction at doctoral level. Sentir will assist a student wishing to do a PhD in the field of Christian spirituality and praxis to find an appropriate supervisor.
