1 Enrolments

Application forms can be downloaded by following the links from course details: courses. The application forms are in the right hand panel under the heading, Downloads this page.

Enrolment timetable

1 The Graduate Certificate in Ignatian Spirituality (for those who are seeking initial formation to become retreat givers and spiritual directors)
2 The Graduate Certificate in Supervision (spiritual direction)
3 The Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction and
4 The Graduate Diploma in Theology (with a focus on Spiritual Direction)

Applications must normally be received by 30 October in the year before these courses are to be taken. This is to allow time for pre-enrolment interviews to take place.

Applications for other courses must be received by 1 February in the year the course is to be undertaken.

How to change your enrolment

If you wish to change your enrolment, you should discuss this with the Dean of ICSPF, then go to the MCD web site (forms page) and download the “Change of Enrolment” form. This form must be signed by the ICSPF Dean before it is sent to the MCD Office.

How to change your personal details

If you wish to change your enrolment, you should go to the MCD web site www.mcd.edu.au/ and download the “Change of Personal Details” form and then send the completed form to the MCD Office.

Leave of Absence or deferral request

To defer study you will need to complete a “Leave of Absence” application, please go to the MCD web site www.mcd.edu.au/, download the “Leave of Absence” form, submit it to the ICSPF Dean and then send the completed form to the MCD Office.

2 Student responsibilities

You need to know

As a student in an adult learning environment, it is your responsibility to ensure that you complete

  • administrative requirements and
  • academic requirements for your course.

What are administrative requirements?

  • selecting your units each year;
  • submitting information on-line and in paper form to ensure that your enrolment is correct;
  • notifying ICSPF of changes to your personal status ie address, contact details etc.

There are possible penalties for not completing certain components by the dates requested.

The Institute for Christian Spirituality and Pastoral Formation is a Recognised Teaching Institution of the Melbourne College of Divinity which collaborates with centres of spiritual formation including the WellSpring Centre and Campion Centre of Ignatian Spirituality.
The Carmelite Library is the designated library of the Institute.
